Russian Christmas

 

Today ist he 7th of january, russian christmas. Anyway, there are no presents for me yet, so i dont care  . But for the russian kids its great, because they get presents at new years eye and at christmas. Maybe i should move to russia...

Now it s already eleven and i just woke up some minutes ago. The days here are short and dark, so it s hard to motivate yourself to get out of bed early. Sunrise is about ten till eleven a.m. and sunset about six p.m. Fortunally the darkest day has already been in december and soon it s getting better. In june there will be no real sunset at all and everybody is strolling around untill the morning hours. The whole city is celebrating and a lot of festival are on. Just some more month to go and the sleepless time begins. Untill then i will work a lot an d try to improve my russian. Did you know, that 2009 is the year of the torro, which is by the way my star sign. So i guess this is gonna be my year...
